Precious is the name of the cat. She is the cat that planted herself on my right hip as it mended in 2017. I had to stay in bed for a very long time, and she remained on my hip, purring endlessly. I am told that the megahertz of a cat's purr is purr-fect for bone growth. I believe it. My orthopedic surgeon was amazed at the rate my reconstructed hip healed. I attribute it to God sending Precious, whose purring presence never wavered.
