Gecko-watching is a favorite pass time for Precious and Madeleine. The geckos are oblivious, just catching moths on the outside of the window. The cats are enraptured when a gecko appears, and they might sit there on that windowsill for literally hours just hoping..... Reminds me of the play, "Waiting for Godot," with one exception -- occasionally the creature makes an appearance.
